Technological equipment has a cap and a flaw. A cap is how much of your total Tech Cap it takes up, a flaw is a negative ability which only kicks in once a certain amount of Tech Cap is reached.

Since Tech Cap represents the bandwidth of a person to use tech and magic, a flaw is essentially the equipment starting to malfunction once it is not given enough bandwidth to run properly.

Usually, but not always, the flaw value would be higher than its cap.
